In the month of November year 2020 precisely, the exit students from various Departments at Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology (AD-COHST) conducted their respective National Exams marking the successful completion of their mandatory three years study in the classrooms and practical fields experiences.
An overall total of 196 students comprising 135 CHEW/JCHEW from Community Health Department, 26 PT from Pharmacy Technician Department, 12 EVT from Environmental Health Technician Department and 23 DOP from Dispensing Opticianry Department sat for their respective Councils and Board’s final exams at different designated centres.
Nevertheless, on Friday shortly after the successful conduct of the Examinations, there was mixed emotions and excitements as the graduating students were cited at the premises of the College in a pleasant mood, offering prayers full of jubilations.
In fact, real learning is fostered by successes, failures, setbacks and ultimately how obstacles are overcome but for the students of AD-COHST that anxieties were debilitated and the records have always been the success story of accomplishments with outstanding academic excellence.
Despite the fact that Friday, November 27, 2020, was the last school day for the students of 2019/2020 exit classes in the College, the day was full of celebrations filled with cheers, exchange of pleasantries and good wishes among the graduating students themselves and the College Community on the other side.
The outgoing senior students had their field day discussing their post-school experiences, fate and opportunities that may come with this stage of life while existing finally from the College.
At this juncture and on behalf of the Proprietor Arc Dr Aminu Dabo, Management, staff and students we bid goodbye to the graduating students, wishing them all the best and look ahead to celebrating their achievements at the grand graduation ceremony.
