Tinubu chairs APC National Caucus Meeting
On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu hosted the inaugural national caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
This was the first caucus meeting since he assumed office in May 2023, and it was held in anticipation of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Wednesday.
Attendees included APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Abbas Tajudeen, APC governors, members of the National Working Committee, and other key party leaders.
The meeting comes amid concerns raised by some APC chieftains, including former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai and former National Vice Chairman Salihu Lukman, who have voiced criticism over the party’s lack of internal democracy.
