Tinubu donates N100m to Kano flood victims

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has donated the sum of N100 million to Kano flood victims.

Tinubu announced the donation in Kano during a dinner organized by members of the Kano business community.

The kind gesture to the victims according to the presidential hopeful became necessary to cushion the effect of the devastation.

The former governor of Lagos State who was in Kano to inaugurate his campaign office and the governorship candidate of the state pledged to reposition existing industries in Kano to make them competitive to boost economic growth in the state and the country as a whole.

Tinubu while describing Governor Ganduje as a friend and a reliable partner said the relationship between Kano and Lagos has been there for a very long time due to their economic similarities, he promised that he will provide an enabling environment for business to thrive in Kano.

“If we win the election next year we will call you to Abuja or your representative and discuss how to move the country forward so that our democracy will last for the benefit of all of us.”

Ganduje in his remarks charged all party members to remain focus and united so that APC will win the 2023 presidential election.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his achievements.
