According to Wales Online, newly appointed Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Gareth Bale and bring him back to the Premier League. The Welshman is on the thinnest of ice at the Bernabeu right now and no one would be surprised to see him leave.
Mourinho is said to be a ‘big admirer of Bale’s talent’ with Tottenham supporters surely glad to hear rumors about one of their best-ever players coming back. Signing Gareth would be a major achievement for Jose and would instantly make him a fan favorite amongst Spurs fans.
Bale’s latest statements and actions have led to another media scandal with some Madridistas screaming for the winger to pack his things and leave at the very first chance. Although the player and the club are said to be quite calm about the whole situation, we have to see whether Bale is going to receive playing time during the upcoming matches.
Even if Gareth doesn’t move in January, he is very unlikely to stay past the 2019-2020 season and it would be quite appropriate for him to leave. The relationship between Bale and our supporters might’ve already reached the point of no return.
