UCL: Defending champions, Real Madrid face Celtic as Liverpool square up with Ajax

Defending champions, Real Madrid, will face Scottish Premier League side, Celtic, Shakhtar Donetsk, RB Leipzig in Group F as revealed in the UEFA Champions League League (UCL) 2022/23 group stage draw held on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey.

Runners-up of last competition, Liverpool will take on Ajax, Napoli and Rangers in Group A.

Spanish favourites, Barcelona will lock horns with rivals, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Viktoria Pizen in Group C.

The 2020/21 champions, Chelsea will face AC Milan, RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb in Group E. While Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) hope to advance to the final as they face Juventus, Benfica, and Israeli Maccabi Haifa in Group H.

Group B: Atletico Madrid, Porto, Bayer Leverkusen, Bruges

Group C: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Viktoria Pizen

Group D: Eintracht Frankfurt, Spurs, Sporting Lisbon, Marseille

Group E: AC Milan, Chelsea, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb

Group F: Leipzig, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Celtic

Group G: Man City, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Copenhagen

Group H: PSG, Juventus, Benfica, Maccabi Haifa
