Elections yet to begin in Fagge at 12 noon
Voting is yet to start in some constituencies of Fagge Local Government area of Kano state at 12 noon.
An eyewitness that spoke to Neptune Prime over the telephone said there has been a situation of votes stealing in some polling units. “Right now, many of the representatives of the parties are there and have gathered at the place where the election materials are distributed to harmonise the matter.
“In some constituencies, elections have already started. But the constituency that is most affected by the failure to start the election is the constituency of Fagge D1 which is a large and important constituency with a large number of voters,” he said.
Ɗanlami Musa Fagge explained that the materials needed for each constituency were counted to be distributed into boxes before it was discovered that there were documents whose whereabouts are unknown.
He alleged that the documents are related to the seat of the federal parliament which the representatives of political parties in Fagge said they did not guarantee.
Until the time of this report, the nomination papers have not been seen, and the election has not started.
