A bank official was on Tuesday left with severe burn injuries after his mistress allegedly poured hot oil on him over allegations of rape.
The incident occurred at the bank staff’s residence in Games village, Abuja, where he resides with his mistress, leaving his wife and kids in Lagos.
“They were together Monday night, not knowing she had plans to kill him. This morning (Tuesday), when he went into the bathroom to have his bath and prepare for work, she sneaked into the kitchen to heat oil, which she poured on him as soon as he came out,” a source told Insta Blog 9ja.
The mistress told the police that the man always drugged her before taking advantage of her anytime she visits him.
She added that she has made several attempts to kill him.
According to her, in February, she set ablaze his Air Condition (A/C) unit from outside and locked the room in an attempt to kill him but he was rescued by neighbours.
In a viral video seen by Neptune Prime, some neighbours and officers of the Nigerian Police were at the resident to sort out the situation.
