Yobe APC chair, other dignitaries attend funeral prayers of late Dallatu of Fika Emirate

The Yobe State All progressives Congress (APC) party chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, has on Friday attended the funeral prayers of late Alhaji Baba Abare, (Dallatu of Fika Emirate) and a former chairman of Fika local government area of Yobe State.

The funeral prayer was led by Chief Imam of Fika Emirate Juma’ at Mosque, Malam Laminu Gwoni Babaji, and attended by thousands of sympathisers in and around Fika local government area.

Late Alhaji Baba Abare died at Yobe State University Teaching Hospital Damaturu after a brief illness at the age of 72.

He is survived by two wives, fifteen children and many grandchildren.

The party chairman condoled the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Idrissa Ibn Muhammadu Abale, and expressed sympathy while praying for the repose of the deceased’s soul and for the family to bear the fortitude of his lost, he also prayed for Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.

Other prominent personalities who attended the funeral prayers includes the Commissioners of Justice, Higher Education, Provost FCE, Manager YEDC, representative of Emir of Potiskum, Tikau, Fune and that of Damaturu respectively.
