Yobe Literary Society distributes clothes to Borno flood victims
In a powerful show of unity and compassion, the Yobe Literary Society (YLS), in collaboration with African Youth O’Clock and the generous people of Bauchi State, has distributed clothing to victims of the recent floods in Borno State. Under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Muhammad (PhD), the initiative provided much-needed relief to some of the most vulnerable individuals, including students, elderly residents, and Almajiris, who were significantly impacted by the disaster.
The clothing distribution is not just about offering material support, but about fostering a sense of solidarity and empathy during a time of immense hardship. The YLS emphasized that the initiative is a reflection of the collective strength of communities coming together in times of crisis.
“We understand that these are challenging times for flood victims, and this initiative is a testament to our shared humanity and the power of community,” said YLS leadership, expressing their commitment to bringing relief and dignity to those affected.
