Fasting and praying with sincerity
Allah says:
“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous.”
Qur’an 2:183
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

2. Performing Qiyām (Tarāwīḥ)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever stands (in prayer) during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

3. Reciting the Qur’an Frequently
Allah says:
“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an…”

4. Giving Charity
Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) said:
“The Messenger of Allah was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan.”

5. Feeding a Fasting Person
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like his…”

6. Making Duʿā’
Allah says:
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.”
Qur’an 2:186
The Prophet ﷺ said the fasting person has a supplication that is not rejected.

7. Seeking Laylatul Qadr
Allah says:
“Laylatul Qadr is better than a thousand months.”
Qur’an 97:3
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan.”

8. Performing Iʿtikāf
‘Aisha (RA) said:
“The Prophet ﷺ used to perform iʿtikāf in the last ten days of Ramadan until he passed away.”

9. Eating Suḥūr
The Prophet ﷺ said:
- “Eat suḥūr, for in suḥūr there is blessing.”
