Gov. Uba Sani appoints Bashir Suleiman Zuntu as Accountant General of Kaduna
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved the appointment of Bashir Suleiman Zuntu as the Accountant General of Kaduna.
This was disclosed in an appointment letter signed by Muhammad Lawal Shehu, Chief Press Secretary, Government House Kaduna on 27 July 2023.
Zuntu, a professional and intelligent financial expert is a member of the Association of Accountants. He worked as the chief accountant in the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment and the chief accountant in the finance department of the Federal Radio of Nigeria, FRCN.
Zuntu is a former assistant in the Kaduna State House of Representatives, he also held the position of Chairman of Kubau Local Government in Kaduna State from 2021 to 2023.
He has a master’s degree in Finance (Msc) from Coventry University, England and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja.
Bashir Suleiman Zuntu has experience in the field of finance, government administration and strategic development and implementation. Bashir Zuntu is the youngest ever to hold this position in Nigeria.
