16-year-old Nigerian student from Yobe builds mini Aeroplane

Hamza A. Saidu a 16-year-old  young talented  SS II Student of Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC),  Yobe State has constructed an Aeroplane with locally sourced materials.
Although the mini Airplane has motorcycle engine, it looks like a real jet and even can contain two or three passengers.
Saidu told our Correspondent that “I am thinking of manufacturing a rocket now, I built this mini Aircraft with aluminum sheets,  metal sheets, Kasea Motorcycle Engine and other local materials”.
The Principal of the School, Dr.  Kemol Bilal Gelik said that the students of the College were hardworking and dedicated to their studies.
“Here in our college, we espouse a noble cause by setting ambitious academic goals, Provide intellectual stimulation
through discussing evidence-based teaching.”
The Principal further revealed that the School was serious about the students’ discipline “here our students are well behaved,  we have no cases of immorality.
“Our Students have scored 100 percent in JAMB and WAEC, for all the 101 graduates.
“In our College here we have 842 students,  all accommodated in our Hostels, our laboratories are well equipped.”

He added, “We have 80 Teachers, 56 Nigerians, 24 from Turkey, 35 Supervisors and 192 non-academic staff respectively.”

  1. Where is the state ministry of Education? Such rare genius should be given all the resources at the disposal of government in order to spur others to try to replicate or even come up with better inventions. The child should be given immediate scholarship to places like MIT in the US
