2023 Presidency: Nigerians anticipate president who understands leadership

As the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) set to conduct its Presidential Primary Election Tuesday, 7th June 2023 with the posters of all the contenders pasted all over Eagle Square in the Central Business District of Abuja the Nation’s capital, Neptune Prime sought to seek the view of Nigerians on the kind of president they are anticipating in the 2023 general elections and a cross-section of Nigerians has this to say.

Anyawun Nnaemeka Lionel, a Youth Corper with the Federal Ministry of Health said that Nigeria needs someone who is politically experienced and also understands leadership.

Another Nigerian who was interviewed said he wish for a president that will not be “overridden by cabals” and also a leader that can connect with the citizens emotionally.

Additionally, Samuel Olanrewaju, a transporter said he wishes for a president that can “rescue Nigeria and Nigerians from the wilderness” and should be the type that will always listen to the yearnings of the citizens.
