They then set ablaze a police vehicle parked outside the station, killing one person who was inside the vehicle.

The terrorists also kidnapped five people from the town, including a lecturer from the Zamfara State College of Education, who was identified as Nasiru Mohamed. The other four victims were not immediately identified.

Neptune Prime understands that the attack was the latest in a series of terror raids in Maru town and other parts of Zamfara State, where the terrorists have been terrorizing the residents and security forces.

On October 27, it was reported by many media outlets that terrorists killed the head of a vigilante group in Maru town, who was pursuing the town’s monarch, who had escaped an earlier attack.

The terrorists also killed three police officers in Tsafe town, near the Gidan Giye village, during a night raid.
