Husband fatally stabs 109-year-old wife over alleged denial of conjugal rights
The police in Uganda are currently investigating a tragic incident in which an elderly woman was reportedly stabbed to death by her husband after refusing to engage in intimate relations with him.
According to Kenya’s the Nation newspaper, an anonymous source provided this information. The suspect, a 110-year-old man named Dominic, allegedly took the life of his 109-year-old wife, Bakasisa.
As per a police report, the deceased declined to join her husband in bed due to feeling unwell and instead chose to sleep in another room. This decision apparently infuriated the husband, leading to a confrontation that tragically ended in her death.
Following the incident, the suspect was apprehended and the deceased’s body was taken to the mortuary. The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime at the scene.
Kenyans on social media have expressed their condolences and called for a mental health assessment for the suspect, considering his advanced age and the tragic nature of the event.
