Famous Nigerian Musician, Tuface Idibia, has enjoined Journalists in Borno State to use the power of the media to propagate peace in the state.
While lamenting  over what he saw at the Ngala and Bakassi IDPs camps, Tuface, an Ambassador of the United Nations High Commission for refugees, urged other prominent Nigerians to support the internally displaced persons.
‘Honestly, what I saw at the camp has emotionally touched me’, he said.
The Benue born singer however commended humanitarian groups and Government in providing their needs.
He also called on people of the state, particularly youths, to use the social media in propagating peace and unity in the troubled North East.
While expressing dismay on the attitude of some certain politicians towards the welfare of the displaced, Tuface attributed the insurgency to insincerity among leaders.
He said his next concert would be held in Abuja and would be dedicated to the internally displaced persons.
