BoldBrick congratulates four distinguished sons turbaned by Machina Emirate

BoldBrick Constructions & Works Ltd has congratulated Associate Professor Abubakar Kagu, Dr. Kole Shettima, Engr. Kati Machina, and Dr. Mansur Ahmed following their turbaning by the Machina Emirate in a historic ceremony held on 31 January 2026 in Machina, Yobe State.

Speaking during a press conference, BoldBrick described the turbaning as a proud moment not only for the honourees and the Machina Emirate, but also for Nigeria at large, noting that the four men embody service, excellence, and commitment to community development.

Associate Professor Abubakar Kagu was turbaned as the Matawallen Machina, alongside three other illustrious sons of the emirate: Dr. Kole Shettima of the MacArthur Foundation, Engr. Kati Machina, and Dr. Mansur Ahmed. The ceremony drew thousands of well-wishers from across the country, reflecting the profound impact and respect the honourees command within society.

BoldBrick noted that the overwhelming turnout and the celebratory atmosphere in Machina underscored the value the emirate places on merit, leadership, and contribution to humanity. The company also praised the warmth, hospitality, and cultural richness displayed by the people of Machina, describing the occasion as both dignified and memorable.

In its remarks, BoldBrick expressed deep appreciation to His Royal Highness, Dr. Bashir Albishir Bukar Machinama, OON, OOMN, the Emir of Machina, as well as the kingmakers and the entire sons and daughters of the Machina Emirate, for the honour bestowed on the turbaned title holders and for hosting guests with exceptional grace.

The MD of the company, Gimba Suleiman Hassan Esq, concluded by praying for continued peace, wisdom, and divine guidance for the traditional institution and reaffirmed its respect for Nigeria’s traditional leadership, describing it as a vital pillar for unity, culture, and societal progress.
