At least 70 lecturers are said to have resigned from the University of Maiduguri since the outbreak of Boko Haram insurgency in the North- East, reports say.
The terrorist group has lately intensified attacks in Borno, killing dozens and kidnapping victims.
The group recently attacked, and killed some staff of the University of Maiduguri aduring an oil exploration mission in the Chad basin area.
The group also kidnapped three of Unimaid’s staff and recently released their photos.
