Gov. Buni inspects Potiskum trailer park project (Video)

The Executive Governor of Yobe State Honourable Mai Mala Buni alongside the Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Honourable Bashir Sheriff Machina, on Friday inspected the Potiskum trailer park which is at advanced stage of completion.

The idea of constructing the park is to have a spacious parking lot for heavy duty vehicles and keep them off the shoulders of expressways.

With the near-snail pace which trailers move, they usually spend days on the road and therefore, when completed the place will experience a boom in business activities and will stabilise social life on an organised scale while in return generate government revenues.

The project is jointly funded by the Yobe State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
