IPOB/ESN members set ablaze Soludo’s local gov’t headquarters (video)

Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) have set ablaze the Aguata Local Government Area (LGA) headquarters, Anambra State, where Governor Charles Soludo is from.

It was learnt that the council headquarters was set on fire during the attack on Thursday.

This would be the second attack in seven days by the IPOB members since the governor was sworn on March 17, 2022.

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has condemned the Thursday attack on Nnewi South Council headquarters by gunmen.

Recall that the hoodlums attacked the Nnewi South Council headquarters in Ukpor and killed a security guard on duty, they also razed several buildings within the secretariat.

Reacting to Thursday’s attack, the spokesman for Anambra State Police Command, Ikenga Tochukwu, said police officers have been deployed to the scene of the incident.
