NMCO DG commiserates with Kaduna gov’t over Abuja-Kaduna train attack

The Director-General of the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (NMCO), Engr Obadiah Simon Nkom, has commiserated with the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the Deputy Governor, Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe, and the entire people of Kaduna State over the recent attack on an Abuja -Kaduna bound train.

In a statement, Engr Nkom who visited the Kaduna State Liaison Office in Abuja said the news was received with deep shock and disbelief, adding “My heart goes out to you and our people in Kaduna State at this time of grief”.

The DG who also condoled with the families of the victims prayed that God Almighty would grant the state government the wisdom needed to address the security challenges and to help sustain the development achieved so far by the state.

The Liaison Officer of Kaduna State in FCT, Hajiya Hannatu Dalhat, while appreciating the gesture, said Engr Nkom had set the pace by the condolence visit to the Liaison Office, adding that Kaduna is home to the Director-General of the Mining Cadastre Office.
