Kano gov’t mourns Tahir Fadlallah

The Kano State Government has commiserated with the family and the Lebanese community over the passing away of a notable industrialist and billionaire Mr Tahir Fadlallah.
The Acting Governor of the state, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, said he received the news of Fadlallah’s death with a shock.

Gawuna pointed out that the late entrepreneur had made remarkable contributions to the development of Kano State as a businessman and a philanthropist which culminated in a solid and cordial relationship with the kano government and the people of Lebanon.
“He will be greatly missed. I, therefore, on behalf of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the government and the people of Kano State, extend our condolence to the deceased’s family and his friends.
The acting governor also urged the family to take equanimity of the deceased’s loss to death, describing death as inevitable to everybody.
He prayed that Almighty Allah blesses the soul of the deceased and rewards him with Jannatul Firdaus.
