Let IPOB members not be deceived, Nigeria’s unity sacrosanct’ _ Miss Onochie

Story from Aisha AUYO
Following the recent blood baths ravaging the Southeastern region of the country, it is no longer news that the area has become a hotbed of criminal activities and horrific killings carried out by armed assailants masquerading as secessionist agitators. The Special Adviser to President Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, condemned the video currently circulating around social media, showing the moment a captured ESN member named Chinaza who was being interrogated by security agents who raided his group’s camp. She further went on to warn other IPOB members not to be deceived about Nigeria’s unity, insisting that the country will always remain one no matter what.

It is interesting to know that security agencies have been working hard to dismantle these militants from the region as raids are being carried out on various hideouts belonging to the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militant wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

During the interrogation, the suspect, Chinaza, was heard mentioning the names and addresses of some of his gang members and sponsors. Apart from disclosing how he was initiated into the ESN camp, the suspect claimed that he had not joined his team on operations in recent times because his wife had just given birth to a baby.

As expected, the viral video has caught the attention of some prominent Nigerians on social media. Taking to her Facebook page to share the video, the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie notified that his parents, wife, and newborn baby will end up regretting the choices he made. She urged IPOB Members to repent and stop wasting Igbo lives.
