Zamfara First Lady donates cash, baby materials to mother of quadruplets
The First Lady of Zamfara State, Hajiya Aisha Bello Muhammed, has donated food items, clothing materials, baby wears and cash to a woman who gave birth to quadruplets.
Three days ago, 30-year-old Naja’atu gave birth to a set of quadruplets in Shinkafi local government area of the state.
In a press statement signed by the press secretary to the First Lady of Zamfara State, Zainab Shua’ibu Abdullahi, the donation was made through the First Lady’s Anchor Initiative to support the less privileged and vulnerable people in the society.
Items donated comprised baby wears, clothing materials, baby milk, diaper, detergent and set of mama kit package and cash.
While presenting the items to the family of the newborns at the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Bello Matawalle, expressed delight and rejoiced with the family for a safe delivery while praying for the successful upbringing and wellbeing of the children.
Represented by the wife of the State Commissioner for Special Duties, Fatima Abdul’aziz Nahuche, the First Lady stated that the assistance offered to the family is to reduce the burden of taking care of the children all alone.
In their seperate remarks, parents of the quadruplets Alhaji isyaku and his wife Malama Naja’atu, appreciated the first lady for her kind gesture to them.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide and protect the First Lady and her husband, Governor Bello Muhammed (Matawallen Maradun).
The happy couple also prayed for the success of the Matawalle’s administration as it commits to bringing succor to the vulnerable groups in the state.
