The facility, named the Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital, was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, by former Nigerian Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. The ultramodern hospital is equipped with 250 admission beds, 20 clinical departments, and five non-clinical departments.
