Fans react over comment of former Man Utd defender accusing club of favouritism

Fans of Manchester United have been reacting to claims made by the club’s former defender, Eric Bailly, accusing the club for favouring English players more than other players.

According to the Ivorian international, United favors English players a lot ahead of other players and it is not done in other clubs.

He stated, “The club should avoid favoring English players and give everyone a chance. The club should encourage competition in the dressing room. I always had the impression that the English player was favored.”

This has however elicited reactions from fans of the club.

According to Mirror Football on Facebook, fans noted that Eric Bailey is wrong to have said so, and they believe that other non-English players have flourished in the team, hence Eric Bailey’s accusation is false.

Others blamed the player for his consistent injuries during his six years at Old Trafford while noted that Eric Baily is right and he was poorly treated at the club.
