The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has reacted to Wednesday’s judgment of the Federal High Court in Lagos ordering former governors to refund all monies they collected as pensions after leaving their various offices.
Malami, through his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr. Umar Gwandu, said in a short statement on Thursday, that they will be guided by the public interest in complying with the court order.

“We will work and be guided by the legalities of the case the dictates of justice and public interest in complying with the judgment”.
