Matrix International Academy, Gombe has presented food and non-food items to orphans and settled medical bills for the less privilege in Gombe metropolis.
Presenting the items in Gombe on Wednesday, Mr. Dominic Edache, the school Head said that the gesture is part of their cooperation social responsibility for the less privileged.
According to him, the gesture was on behalf of the students, teachers and the parents to ensure that they provide something for the fewer privileged people.
He said subsequently they would double their effort and make as a culture to ensure that it will be a yearly event for the community.
He appreciated the community for their understanding and cooperation that lead to the peace they are enjoying thereby aiding them to operate successfully. “Because without the community the school couldn’t have been.
“We can not exist as an entity without the community and we hope that the initiative will grow to spread more in the nearest future,” he said.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked and appreciated the gesture, they called on the other Organizations to emulate the initiative as it would reduce the hardship experienced by the less privileged people.
The school visited Specialist Hospital Gombe, Tumpure and BCJ orphanages and the items presented include two bags of beans, a bag of sugar, blankets, salt, indomie Noddles, boards, tissue paper, tablets of soap, and detergents.
