According to observation by PUNCH, the Commission has uploaded results (presidential) from 2,060 Polling Units (PUs) out of the 176,846 units as of 10:45am.

INEC has come under fire for failing to allow the upload of results on its portal.

Neptune Prime correspondent in Lagos observed that the Polling Officers (PO) in some of the PUs visited were unable to upload results to the INEC portal via the Bi-modal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).

To this, one of the leading Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), YIAGA Africa, in a statement on Saturday expressed disappointment at the failure of the commission to upload the results.

“Yiaga Africa is deeply concerned with the delay in uploading polling unit results for the Presidential election on the INEC Election Result Portal.

“As of 7 pm on election day, no result was uploaded after voting and counting ended in several polling units #NigeriaDecides2023,” YIAGA had said.
