Nigerian pupil comes first in US school’s spelling bee competition

A Nigerian girl schooling in the United States of America emerged as the winner of a US school’s spelling bee competition.
Izoduwa came first in the Sawnee Elementary spelling bee competition.
Sanwee Elementary school is a part of West Community School in Georgia, United States. Some of the schools under the group are Vickery Creek Elementary School, Kelly Mill Elementary School, Liberty Middle School, among others.
Sawnee Elementary shared the news via Facebook, writing:
“We held our annual Sawnee Spelling Bee today and it was outstanding! Congratulations to all of our participants and to our winner, Izoduwa, and our runner-up, Maznah!”
