Late night fire destroys goods, shops in Bodija Market
A late-night fire on Tuesday gutted the popular Bodija Market in Ibadan, Oyo State destroying goods and properties worth millions of naira.
According to DAILY POST, a section of the plank market was greatly affected by the late-night fire.
The incident was confirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The South West Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Mr Saheed Akiode, said men of the agency were mobilised to the scene immediately.

Akiode said, “We are there to ensure the fire is put under control while further assessment continues,” he said.
The cause of the fire incident at the Bodija market has not been confirmed as of press time.
