Bandits kill 6 mobile policemen, 30 villagers in Kebbi State

Bandits have reportedly killed six mobile policemen and 30 villagers in Dan Umaru, located in the Zuru area of Kebbi State.

In addition, dozens of people have been kidnapped and hundreds of cattle rustled during the attack on the villages.

According to Daily Trust, residents have reported that the funeral of 27 people has already taken place, and several others have sustained various degrees of injuries.

As of the time of filing this report, the police authorities in the state have yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
