Emir of Kano leads funeral prayer of former Waziri of Kano, Sheikh Nasir Muh’d Nasir

Story from Shafaatu DAUDA, Kano

The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has led the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Nasir Muhammad Nasir, the chief Imam of Waje Jumuat mosque and former Waziri of Kano State.

The prayer was held around 9: A.M on Thursday morning at Kofar Kudu Emir’s palace.

After the janazah prayer, the Emir of Kano and his brother of Bichi Emirate Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero in the company of a multitude of Muslim faithful accompanied the corpse to the graveyard.

The late Imam was lowered to mother earth at Dandolo cemetery Goron Dutse in Gwale local government.

The two Emirs prayed to the Almighty to grant the deceased Allah and console his family and the Muslim ummah for the irreparable loss.

Professor Sheikh Umar Sani Fagge is the Imam who led the funeral prayer of the deceased.

Sheikh Nasir Muhammad Nasir was a close confidant of the former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Bayero, and contributed hugely towards the development of the Muslim faithful in the state.

He left behind wives, children and grandchildren.
