"Save me from dying" accident victim begs Gombe's Gov. Inuwa

Malam Muhammad Suleiman, a resident of the Barunde Community from Gombe state, has appealed to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state and other residents to come to his aid in order to enable him to go for a spinal cord surgery.

Suleiman, a former tipper driver who had an accident in Yola in 2014 made the appeal in an interview with our Correspondent in Gombe on Thursday, December 21, 2019

He said the surgery and other expenses would cost close to N2 million, adding that he had no means of raising such a huge amount of money having been bedridden for nearly three years.

He said he wants the surgery operation done so as to get back on his feet in order to make out living for himself and his four children who had been abandoned by his wives since he was involved in the accident.

“Life has been tough for me ever since I had an accident in Yola in 2014 that made me like this. I have been on the bed for nearly three years and I don’t feel good like this,” he said.
