Kidnappers whisk away female journalist in Port Harcourt
The Director of News at the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation (RSBC) in Port Harcourt, Mrs. Priestba Anthony Nwokocha, has been abducted.
The news of her kidnapping was revealed by Pastor Ebi Ogoloma, the Director of Administration at the station. Mrs. Nwokocha was forcefully taken between 7pm and 8pm on Friday, July 21, while on her way home from work along Slaughter/YKC road in Port Harcourt.
According to sources close to her family, Mrs. Nwokocha’s car broke down along the aforementioned road. She immediately contacted her husband, who arrived at the scene with a mechanic to fix the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was during this time that the kidnappers appeared and took her captive.
