Ghanaian actor, Vincent McCauley dies after brain surgery

Ghanaian actor Vincent McCauley, known for his role as Max in the popular ‘Things We Do For Love’ series, has passed away on January 15, 2024. The actor underwent surgery in South Africa for a brain tumor, and his family announced his death in a statement on Friday.

They expressed gratitude for his “glorious magnificent transition” into the presence of God Almighty.

Vincent McCauley, Jr., an administrator at Soul Clinic International School, was not only known for his educational contributions but also for his significant impact in the entertainment industry.

He starred in various films and TV productions, gaining recognition for his role as Max.

The family thanked everyone who cared and loved him, acknowledging the large void he leaves behind.

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari shared her grief, expressing how difficult it is for her to accept the news. She fondly recalled meeting Vincent on the set of ‘Who Owns the City’ about 14 years ago, describing him as radiant, a breath of fresh air, and always bubbly.

She reminisced about his sparkling eyes whenever he mentioned her name and the laughter they shared on set. Buari bid farewell to Vincent, wishing him peace in the other world.

Vincent McCauley is survived by his wife, whom he married in 2017.

His contributions to various movie projects, including ‘You Only Live Once’ (YOLO), ‘Games People Play,’ ‘Fortune Island,’ ‘Office Palava,’ ‘Living With Trisha: House of Secrets,’ and ‘The Idiot and I,’ have left a lasting impact on the Ghanaian entertainment industry. May he rest in peace.
