The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the brutal murder of Muhammad Mamuda Baba Jibir, a 25-year-old commercial motorcycle operator from Misau.

The victim was killed and his Boxer motorcycle stolen by armed robbers, who were later lynched by a mob.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ahmed Wakili, detailed the incident, stating, “Yes, there was a case of conspiracy, armed robbery, and culpable homicide.

“On 18 August 2024, at about 2200hrs, we received a tip-off about a body lying in a pool of blood in Anguwan Agwaluma, Misau.”

He added, “The victim’s throat was slit with a knife. The Detectives moved his body to the General Hospital, Misau, where he was confirmed dead.”
