Gunmen in Yobe kill 3 Islamic school students

Heavily armed criminals have killed three Shiite members of the Islamic Movement at Faudiya School in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State.
Faudiya School belongs to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.
Fudiyya is located at Hausari quarters in Geidam LGA.
Neptune Prime gathered that the assailants invaded the school around 3:44am on Friday.
Mahadi Asadullah told Neptune Prime that the gunmen attacked when the victims were sleeping.

“The incident occurred at around 3:44 am, when the gunmen invaded Faudiya School, a well known Shiite school in Geidam.”
“They (gunmen) attacked the school when these youths were asleep and brought them outside and shot them dead.
“There is tension and concern in the town after this incident. People are terrified over this unfortunate incident,” he said.
Another source from the vigilantes command told our reporter that three members of Shiia sect were killed while one sustained injuries.
“We don’t know who they (gunmen) are but, all we knew is that they killed three students in the school. One person who tried to escape during the incident was injured and he has been hospitalised,” he said.
When contacted, Public Relations Officer of the Yobe State Police Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the incident but did not give details.
Shaikh Zakzaky’s representative in Gaidam town, Malam Kolo Gaidam, said, “the burial of the martyrs will hold by 3:00pm and we will explain the full details of what happened to our brothers”
