Couple, 2 daughters perish in tragic road crash while returning from Christmas break

A heartbreaking car accident on January 4, 2025, has claimed the lives of prominent Benue-based lawyer Stephanie Angbiandoo, her husband Victor Angbian Tyohemba, and their two daughters, Agnes Ngohide and Immaculate Sesughter.

The tragedy unfolded along the Akwanga-Abuja road as the family was returning to their Abuja home after spending the festive season in Benue State.

On January 6, the family was laid to rest in Igbor, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State. The funeral, held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, drew mourners from far and wide, all grieving the sudden and devastating loss of a beloved family.

A close family friend, Ngutswen Terna Timothy, shared his anguish, saying, “Victor called me just two days earlier to discuss their journey back to Abuja.”

The Angbiandoo family, who resided in Aso Estate, Abuja, were cherished for their warmth, humility, and kindness.

Stephanie Angbiandoo, an alumna of Benue State University’s Faculty of Law, was a passionate legal professional whose legacy of compassion has left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

The loss of this remarkable family has sent shockwaves through their community, leaving loved ones, friends, and colleagues grappling with grief over their untimely departure.
