The Nigeria Army has released images of Boko Haram Leaders and Commanders that were reported to have been killed last week in an air strike on a gathering convened by Boko Haram in a part of Sambisa forest.
A statement signed by Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, Director Army Public Relations, the army called on the media to publish the images, and support the Army in its war against terror.
The statement read:
“Please recall that in our release of Tuesday 4th September 2017, we informed you that some senior Boko Haram terrorists commanders were neutralized last week Friday, 1st September 2017, during aerial bombardment on their hideout.
The killed commanders are Abubakar Benishek,
Modu Bako
and Audu Kubuiri,
The Army had announced that two Boko Haram commanders and a deputy to Abubakar Shekau, a factional leader of the terrorist group, were killed in a successful military operation at Alafa in Borno state on Sallah day.
