Troops attack Boko Haram terrorists in Bama, retrieve machine gun and other weapons

Troops of 151 and 202 Battalions of 21 Brigade Nigerian Army have launched attacks on unsuspecting Boko Haram terrorists in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
The troops who laid an ambush for the terrorists along Firgi-Pulka road engaged the terrorists in a gun battle, as they abandoned their weapons and escaped, sustaining injuries. They were, however, able to capture and neutralize one of the terrorists who was with 6 bundles of zinc and as well, detonated an unexploded ordinance.

Objects recovered from the ambush site include a multipurpose machine gun and one motorcycle.
In a related development, troops of 22 Brigade Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Wednesday intercepted three Boko Haram members who disguised as Internally Displaced Persons and recovered two AK-47 rifles, 2 magazines with several rounds of ammunition and amongst other items from.
