Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has come out to debunk rumours of the successful rescue of the 333 schoolboys abducted in government secondary school (GSSS) in Kankara, Katsina State by the notorious Boko Haram terrorists, accusing hackers of taking control of her Twitter and Instagram accounts and using them to announce that 333 students abducted in Katsina had been rescued.

Less than an hour ago, the official Twitter handle of the NiDCOM boss had announced:
“Yaaaay. The 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued. Alhamdulillah ! @MBuhari administration has brought back our boys. #BringBackOurBoys . Our boys are back“
The minister, who had posted the tweet with many Twitter users already jubilating, spreading the news of hope immediately debunked it saying her account was hacked and she lost control of it and asked the public not to post any credit to her account concerning the Katsina boys.
While revealing that she has changed her passwords, Abike She denied the story and distanced herself from the handle which she said was compromised.
