First Lady, Aisha Buhari deletes Twitter account

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has deleted her Twitter page.

She made the announcement before deactivating it on Friday night.

Aisha tweeted, “I will be deactivating my Twitter account for now.

“Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Recall that the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, on Friday announced the suspension of the microblogging and social networking site.

The suspension is not unrelated to President Buhari’s controversial tweet that was deleted by the management of Twitter on Wednesday.
