Ex-AAC Presidential Candidate and Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore launched a protest Saturday against President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Sowore had earlier announced that a nationwide protest would hold against the Buhari’s administration over what he described as ‘Bad Governance’ and ‘Corruption’.
Protesters were chanting “Buhari Must Go!” as they advanced on the streets of Abuja.
The police around the Gudu axis shot teargas at them to scare them away.
Sowore participated in a demonstration two weeks ago in Abuja and was allegedly shot on the hips by a police officer.
He has clashed with security agencies and detained severally but was secured bail from the judiciary.
