Gov. Buni’s aide, Adamu Yaro, loses mother, aged 80

Senior Special Assistant to Yobe State Governor, Honourable Mai Mala Buni and a former All Progressive Congress (APC) Youth Leader in Yobe State, Alhaji Adamu Yaro Potiskum, has lost his mother, Late Hajiya Maryam Adamu Bakano.

Hajiya Maryam Adamu Bakano died last night in Potiskum after a protracted illness at the age of 80. She is survived by nine children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Apart from the former APC Youth Leader, other children of the Late Hajiya Maryam include Alhaji AbdurRahman Adamu, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Adamu, Alhaji Hussaini Adamu and Adamu Alhaji Adamu as well as Baffa Adamu who are all businessmen in Potiskum, Yobe State.

The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites at the late Mamman Ali Memorial Grave Yard Potiskum.
