According to him, the schools that benefitted from the gesture included; Hassan Central Primary School, Jalo Waziri Primary School, Gabukka Primary school, Kamara Primary School, Malam Bello Hamza Jalo Waziri Primary School and Asas Nursery and Primary School Jekdafari.

“The materials distributed are exercise books, pens, pencils, office flat files to staff among others. The total number of beneficiaries are 500 pupils”. He said.

He stated that TMG Educational Foundation is a non-profit and non-political movement purposely initiated to support the education of less privileged children in society.

He said the idea to establish the organisation was in consideration of the current situation faced in northern Nigeria and Gombe state in particular adding that research from UNICEF shows that 45 per cent of children in the region are out of school.

“And also no education, no future. That is why the theme of the program is ‘education for all is a responsibility of all’. While our motto is every child deserves quality education”. He said.
