According to him, the sum of N50, 000 is being spent annually on each person living with the virus in the state.

He said by the year 2023, the intervention would expire urging the state government to sustain the treatment with a view to consolidating the achievements recorded in terms of controlling the disease.

He added that the federal government has enrolled 50, 000 people living with HIV in the program from Abia and Taraba states to get treatments.

He promised that more patients would be enlisted in other states so that they would benefit from the gesture.
