Audu Adamu Madaki, an Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in charge of zone 12 (comprising Bauchi and Gombe states) with headquarter in Bauchi was attacked today by bandits at Bade, Kaduna State, on his way to Abuja for an official engagement.

 Neptune Prime gathered that AIG Madaki sustained a gunshot injury in his leg while Assistant Superintendant of Police (ASP) Gideon, his orderly, was killed and his driver was shot in the arm.

Gideon, recently promoted to ASP once worked with late Ali Kwara.
