Air Force officer arrests fake soldier in Kuje, Abuja (Video)

A middle-aged man has been arrested on Sunday 4th December 2022 by an Air Force officer at the Kuje junction, along Airport Road, Abuja who was allegedly impersonating as military personnel.
According to the Air Force officer, he saw the impersonator standing by a Honda Car around Gossa village and he had a nudge to ask him some questions but the man could not answer all the questions which made the officer become suspicious.
When the suspected impersonator noticed the officer’s suspicion, he rushed into his car and zoomed off. The officer also got into his car and chased after him and he (the impersonator) was eventually apprehended at the Kuje Junction.
However, when he was apprehended, the mob took turns in beating him while asking him why he was wearing a military uniform which he replied that he is an actor.
According to an eyewitness, Sarkin Powa, he said he was driving along Airport Road when he saw a gathering of people, so he decided to park to find out what was happening. On getting close, he noticed there were women’s clothes in the suspect’s car and when asked who owns the clothes and the car, he said they belonged to his female superior officer in Kano State.
Sariki said the suspect had been taken to the Air Force Base for further Investigations.
