APC and ADC share votes equally at FCT polling Unit in local election

In a rare and closely watched development, voters at a polling unit in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded an exact tie between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during the ongoing local elections.

According to election officials, both parties secured an equal number of votes, underscoring the intense competition and evenly divided political support within the area. Electoral officers at the unit confirmed that the tie will trigger a review and possible run-off procedure as prescribed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines.
